What we work on
- Low-slope and flat roofs on small commercial buildings.
- Pitched shingle roofs on offices, churches and mixed-use buildings.
- Leak repairs at seams, drains, curbs and rooftop units.
- Storm damage inspections and documentation for your insurer.
Start with an inspection
Commercial roofs fail at the details: seams, flashing at walls and rooftop units, and drains that hold water. We walk the roof, photograph what we find and give you a written report and scope, so you can decide between repair and replacement with real information.
Common commercial roof problems in Houston
- Ponding water that sits on a low-slope roof for days after rain.
- Seam and lap separation on membranes and modified bitumen.
- Flashing failures at parapet walls, curbs and rooftop HVAC units.
- Clogged drains and scuppers that back water up during heavy storms.
- Sun and heat aging that dries out coatings and sealants.
- Hail and wind damage to membranes, metal panels and rooftop equipment.
Commercial roofs on the coast
The Texas windstorm program applies to commercial buildings as well as homes in its designated areas, including Brazoria, Chambers and Galveston counties and parts of Harris County east of Highway 146 (Texas Department of Insurance). If your building's wind coverage is through TWIA, tell us during the inspection so the work is planned for a windstorm inspection.
Working around your business
We plan access, noise and debris around your tenants and customers and confirm the schedule with you in writing.
